About Us

The Farringdon Practice opened on September 2nd 2013 and we are proud to have been opened for 10 years now.

The express aim of the Practice is to reach as much of the local community as possible, irrespective of income. We have a team of seven highly experienced practitioners who work with various psychotherapeutic models including attachment, psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, integrative and CBT.  It is important though for the goal of each individual who contacts the Practice to be put before any particular theory.
Each member of the practice is accredited with their respective bodies and adhere to their code of ethics. These organisations are listed below.

British Psychoanalytic Council

UK Council for Psychotherapy

British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy

British Psychoanalytic Association

The Farringdon Practice has donated most of its income in support of these predominantly local charities and organisations:

It is with great pleasure that we can announce that The City Wellbeing Centre  which is based on the same principle as TFP and was opened in October 2020, three and a half years after one of our members Matthew Bell has been driving this project as an elected councillor in the City of London.  If you live or work in the City of London please consider contacting them to see if they have spaces (both reduced fee and "normal" fee).

The centre is run by Tavistock Relationships and caters to residents and workers in the Square Mile irrespective of income.

We wish them all the best!
